Interview Questions

 1.What are your strengths?

My greatest strength is that I am a fast learner. At my last job, I was expected to know nearly everything within my first two days. As a result, it taught me to be a fast learner. Another strength I have is patience. I learned how to be patient with people.  This has helped me with many aspects of my life. An example of this is that I can be more adaptable due to my patience with people.

 2. What motivates you?

What motivates me is living my dreams of turning people's comic book dreams into reality. What I mean by that is by helping to create movies and TV shows of superheroes.  I have personal experience on how Marvel, DC, and Star Wars movies and TV have taught me personal lessons that I still hold to this day. I remember they made a lasting impression on me. My motivation is to bring that happiness and joy to people through these characters.

3. Where do you see yourself in five years?

In five years, I would like to be in NYU or UCLA in their business school to get an MBA degree. I am seeking an entry-level position at the Walt Disney Company. This entry-level position will help me a lot. The main way it will help me is to rise up the ladder and become an executive at Marvel, which is my end goal. I want a job at the Walt Disney Company because 2 out of their 3 offices are in cities I aspire to live in (New York City and Los Angeles).

4. What keeps you up at night?

What usually keeps me up at night is when I haven’t completed my work for the day and I skip the assignment. It shouldn’t bother me as much as it should because it’s only one assignment. However, I get a very sinking feeling whenever I don’t complete them on time.

5. What kind of person would you refuse to work with?

I refuse to work with people who don’t cooperate with my team. If they do stuff other than the task at hand it gets on my nerves. I need to be very focused on optimal results and a person not cooperating will lead to less than optimal results.

6. What are your weaknesses?

My biggest weakness is my procrastination. Since freshman year, I have had a major procrastination problem. This was causing me to accumulate over 50 missing assignments and bad grades. I have somewhat corrected this habit but I tend to fall back into my old habits sometimes. However, I am actively trying to reform this habit so I do not fall back into old ways.

7. What was your biggest failure?

My biggest failure was definitely my final exam for biology. This was a time where I wasn’t studying for anything and not taking high school seriously. I received a very bad grade on the final exam.  This was a wake-up call for me. I realized that I needed to take school and life seriously. I needed to study more and make an effort to get a better grade.

8. Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.

The accomplishment I am most proud of is my tennis regional tournament in my senior year. This was the only year where I won the entire tournament on my flight. I was very proud of myself because all my hard work on the tennis court finally had paid off.

9. How do you handle pressure/stress?

I’d like to say that I handle pressure very well. Throughout high school, I was always put under pressure whether it was sports or academically related. An example of this is when I was writing my college essays. I felt under pressure because my GPA wasn’t the greatest and a lot of my application relied on a very good essay. I handled this pressure very well; I wrote one of the best essays I have ever written and I got into one of my top choice colleges.

10. How do you deal with conflict?

I usually deal with conflict by confronting it and listening to their side of the story. Over the years, I have come to understand that I have my own side of the story and there is always another side to it. So when it comes to conflict, I know I have to confront the issue and if they want to speak their side of the story, I am open to listening.
